Intercultural Communication of Jingchu Classics

Jingchu culture boasts several great classics of philosophy and literature such as the Shanhai jing (山海经) Daode jing (道德经) Chu ci (楚辞) and Huainanzi (淮南子). This book focuses on the intercultural communication of the Chu ci and Huainanzi from several perspectives and it is the product of the project entitled “Research on the Intercultural Dissemination of Chu Culture”. Some well-known translations of the two classics are analyzed in light of Eco-translatology Medio-translatology textual metafunction and intertextuality theory. These studies are aimed at promoting the intercultural communication of Jingchu culture.
