Intercultural discomfort

Undoubtedly there are only discomforts in culture in inculture in identity; embarrassments of identity enigma of national identity murderous identities etc. because there is first of all some intercultural discomfort. This is what seems not to have always been sufficiently explained. But what is there between cultures what happens there? To ask the question in this way is it not to say the between from some place? Perhaps it is necessary to persist in calling this in-between border which makes one neither completely outside nor completely inside and which makes one both inside and outside. A kind of non-place that is no less inhabited. But who we? And inhabited by whom? A philosophy instructed by the field will attempt to visit these non-places inhabited by people-borders and to elaborate the metaphorological and cosmo-political consequences of a fact: their number will increase as climate change proceeds.
