Interlanguage Syntax of the Noun Phrase in English

This book aims at introducing the English as a foreign language researcher in particular to the area of the noun phrase. The book examines the interlanguage syntax of the closed system elements that occur before and/or after the noun head. It demonstrates that a great deal of students'' errors could be explained by over-generalization and interference from students'' mother tongue though some other errors challenge explanations offered by contrastive analysis of English and Arabic.
