This study presents the results of a study of cases of a combination of strength and deformation of the inner layer of a plate and a shell which have different physical and mechanical properties or whose outer layers consist of layers that are resistant to aggressive media. The monograph presents theoretical and experimental studies introductory conclusions an analysis of the literature used the results of a study of the stress-strain state of two-layer plates and two-layer shells. When considering the cases of deformation and stress of a two-layer combined cylindrical shell the outer layers of which are composite materials under the influence of pressure and temperature it was found that experimental results with theoretical calculations give good results. Studies of the influence of interlayer shear deformations of two-layer plates and shells on the strength and deformation states are demonstrated.
