Intermediation and Qualification of Workmanship in the Garment Sector

The intermediation and qualification of labour in industrial sectors has been a great challenge for public managers. In sectors with low technological development this challenge is even greater. The research is delimited in the Greater ABC region considered the cradle of industrialization in the city of São Paulo. The clothing sector the second largest employer in the country is the focus of the study analyzing the public policies developed by the seven municipalities that surround the region.
