Global Climate change concerns’ has led to broad consensus for low carbon and climate resilient development pathways. Moving towards such a pathway at the speed demanded by science needs clear policy direction from the international community in the form of a new international agreement where emissions are cut by all nations. The developing world suffers most from environmental climate change that calls for consensus in developing pragmatic mitigation policies to eliminate the risks and cost associated with climate change for numerous businesses ranging from those in carbon intensive industries to those that emit little.
