INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL LAW

<p>International criminal law is a relatively new field of international law that has made significant contributions to the development and advancement of the global legal system. More than eight international special or ad hoc criminal tribunals and courts were established just seven decades after the Second World War.&nbsp;However in international relations today the threat or use of force between States is prohibited. The concept of international criminal justice which was introduced with the establishment of two International Military Tribunals is largely responsible for the successful abolition of warfare following World War II as opposed to the unsuccessful attempts to prevent war during the interwar period.With the strengthening of International Criminal Court and Tribunals the contemporary scenario seems to be directing in the right direction.&nbsp;</p><p>The book will serve as a reference book for both Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate students of law apart from the Research Scholars.
