Internationalization of production

The monograph using extensive factual material examines the causes driving forces and growing scale of division of production processes into separate stages and their removal to different countries. The geo-economic consequences of this irreversible process are considered as well as its role in leveling the technical and economic landscape of the world economy and in pulling less developed countries to the world vanguard. Against this background the reasons for Russia''s weak participation in international production cooperation the losses caused by it and the first steps to overcome this lag are considered.
