Intimacy with the Wind

<p>Poems in <em>Intimacy with the Wind</em> by Carla Schwartz encapsulate a nomadic life living on a solar electric-powered tiny houseboat on a lake. They touch on nature and the environment and fuse the themes of love family death and life throughout. Her poem <em>Gum Surgery</em> from the collection was selected for the Boston Mayor’s 2017 Poetry Program and later anthologized in the 2017 City of Notions a Boston Poetry Anthology edited by Danielle Legros Georges.</p>
