<p>They say every house has a story but this one might just have a death wish-and I'm starting to think I'm the star of its twisted tale. Inherited from my family this sprawling Maine estate was supposed to be a new start a chance to find my footing after a life spent chasing predictability. Instead I got Damian Hale. Handsome enigmatic and about as trustworthy as a storm at sea Damian showed up at my door in the middle of a tempest dripping water and cryptic warnings. Since then nothing has felt right.
