<p>The Comparative Analysis of Facility Management in Organizational PerformanceFacility management (FM) is defined by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) as an organizational function which integrates people place and process within the built environment with the purpose of improving the quality of life of people and the productivity of the core business.</p><p>In the context of behavioral economics and organizational theory such as my views have explored the dichotomy between organizations that treat facility management as a strategic asset versus those that view it merely as a cost center. </p><p>My perspective suggests that the presence of a dedicated FM department acts as a catalyst for positive consumption emotions and operational efficiency whereas the absence of such a structure often leads to the degradation of physical assets and a decline in organizational performance over time.</p>
