Introduction to diabetology

cardiovascular disease is currently a major concern worldwide especially in emerging countries. we are undergoing a veritable epidemiological transition.diabetes mellitus is one of the main risk factors for cardiovascular disease and it is therefore essential for medical students to have a basic knowledge of diabetology in order to contribute to better management of diabetic patients.This manual is an introduction to diabetology (definition classification and principles of treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus according to ADA/EASD 2022 and SFD 2022) and will serve as an immersion in diabetology for medical students.
