INTROSPECTIVE SLUMS

This book covers various definition and history of slums from global to national level and it also covers various literature work done on the slum. The book contributes the research of Potential Analysis for Growth of Future Slum in a vacant land and also explains the applicability of this model. In this study the factors responsible for the development of slums and strength of attraction of that factors which attract the people of slums in nearby vacant land are determined. The prediction of growth of slum development and it's probability to grow on identified land is also stated. If there are many vacant lands the model can also help to predict the strength of probability of growth of slum development.
