Inventory Management Practices in Small and Medium Enterprises

Small and Medium enterprises are growing at a fast rate and their impact in the economy is great. However they are faced with challenges including inability to be sustainable in the long run and one of the probable causes as suggested by extant literature is ineffective and inefficient management of inventory. The aim of the study was to evaluate inventory management practices in SMEs the study covered all the selected merchandizing SMEs and excluded the SMEs in manufacturing and services industry as well as large enterprises.
