<p>Aketa Collins and Ellis Allan have been together for fifteen years during which both have achieved notable career success and started a family. Aketa wants to get married but Ellis is happy with their current situation and does not want to marry. As a result Aketa decides to leave Ellis and later meets Jesse Monroe a local business owner. She quickly develops strong feelings for Jesse but is unaware of some details of his life. In the end Aketa learns that appearances can be deceiving and things may not be as good as they first seemed.</p>
