The growing quest for synthesizing nano-structures has made it essential to understand their characteristics. This book summarizes the investigation on mechanical and physical properties of variety of nano-structures such as carbon nano-tubes graphene and boron nano-tubes. While there are still numerous unanswered questions about nano-structures deformation understanding the behavior of these novel materials is an ongoing project.
