Investment Issues in Oil and Gas Contracts in OPEC Countries

This book outline the facts and legal background of two OPEC countries: Nigeria and Iran''s oil and gas sectors comprising exploration drilling and production of hydrocarbon in post-Covid pandemic era. Iran and Nigeria are still regarded as a high-risk jurisdiction due to economic sanctions on Iran and lack of regulatory reforms in the Nigerian upstream and downstream sectors. Therefore the aims and objective of this book is to help industry investors in various countries and context conditions to be aware of the political economic legal and regulatory framework in risks mitigation in oil and gas contracts. This research was generated based on expert consulting and advisory knowledge supported by primary data from equity market investors LNG traders and IOCs who wishes to operate in OPEC countries.
