He is a lover of travel and film and a lifelong jazz musician who currently teaches creative writing and journalism at CUNY. Raised in the Midwest he received an MFA in Fiction from Columbia University. He resides in Manhattan with his spouse and two daughters.&nbsp;<em>Invisible Bridges</em>&nbsp;is his first short story collection.</p>
