<p><em style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>inwords</em><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)> is Mexican-American poet Rigo Garcia Jr.'s offering to the loners of the world the ones who live in the in-betweens the ones who shape-shift in order to fit in.</span></p><p></p><p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>All handwritten by Garcia and textured with mirroring introspection painfully-honest prose and the sensory experience of growing up while moving throughout California (Fresno Selma Stockton Sacramento and mainly The Bay) between an in-and-out of incarceration father a young single mother and Tias (Aunties) & Tios (Uncles). These poems deal with displacement identity masculinity generational-trauma death but also love presence spirituality and hope.</span></p><p></p><p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Garcia draws on the rhythmic meter of Hip-hop the intimacy of a heart to heart with a friend and the vulnerability of a journal entry. </span></p><p></p><p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>These poems & prose are a journey inwards in words.</span></p>
