IOT and Industry 4.0

IoT and Industry 4.0 make it possible to increase efficiency by integrating devices and appliances connected to the internet helping students teachers and other professionals in the teaching and learning process. It will be shown that the IoT has the possibility of offering remote access to educational tools in order to allow students to clarify their doubts while studying in remote locations as well as share information with their teachers and classmates on specific platforms. In addition the authors will show that the same application can be applied in Industry 4.0. The authors are researchers at the Telecommunications Laboratory/LABTEL and Applied Research Laboratory/LPA at the Federal University of Santa Catarina/UFSC/Campus Araranguá/SC and have experience in Telecommunications Systems Industry 4.0 Remote Experiments Embedded Systems and ICT with its Evolutions.
