IoT Based Plant Growth Monitoring System for Vertical Farm

Agriculture plays an important role in the economic sector that contributes to a nation's overall economic development. As per the report of the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) United Nations there will be a tremendous food demand globally which is expected to rise by 70% by 2050. Keeping in view all the above factors this book focuses on studying and implementing the latest agricultural practices such as soil-less agriculture techniques viz. vertical farming hydroponics aeroponics and aquaponics help farmers to overcome the above challenges compared to conventional farming. This book focuses on designing and constructing an IoT-enabled smart vertical farming system with a controlled environment for plant growth.
