Irish Fairy and Folk Tales

In this wonderful collection of fairy tales and songs which he gathered and edited for publication in 1892 Nobel Prize-winning author and poet W.B. Yeats included nearly every variety of Irish folk.  Yeats collaborated with the authors of the Irish Literary Revival because he was enthralled by Irish mythology and folklore. He researched Irish folk tales and decided to use this distinctive literature to revive the splendor and importance of Ireland's past.
