Islam and the Sharia in the 1993 Draft Constitutions of Afghanistan

As a person trained in Islamic law and constitutional law I provide a fascinating description of two constitutions drafted (but not ratified) in Afghanistan that no one seems to be familiar with. I am bringing these two understudied draft constitutions of Afghanistan into the academic literature. As an author of Afghan constitutional history and a researcher who has access to these two constitutions I am uniquely situated to provide such a description.
