Issues in Personal-Social Counselling

This book deals with behavioural and psychological issues that can lead to poor academic performance of children in schools.The book has five chapters; Chapter one contains issues on corruption in educational system and how it could be eradicated. Chapter two contains bullying in schools it effects on learners and implications for counselling. Chapter three contains the effect of truancy on students'' academic performances. Chapter four contains domestic violence against women which could have negative effects on school children and could probably affect their future. Chapter five contains the impact of single parenting on the cognitivesocial and emotional development of school children.
