It Takes Time

<p>Recent college grad Lane Reid is only sure of one thing. She wants to do something with her life that matters. She just doesn't have the tiniest idea what that might be. Okay there's one more thing. She's also sure that it's time to move out of her parents' house.<br> </p><p>When Lane downloads a history app her sister recommends she's just planning to kill time until she figures out what to do with her life. Instead of learning history from textbooks the app gives users the chance to learn history from the people who lived it historical figures actually brought back from the past using time travel technology. Lane is just beginning to enjoy this feature and falling in love with a first century BC gladiator named Gannicus when she discovers that the historical figures on the app have been kidnapped from their own times and enslaved by the app's creator. For Lane what started as an uncomplicated way to pass the time turns into a fight to end this human trafficking for the man she loves and others like him. </p>
