Mabel's dream of opening a teashop on an Italian lake that serves cakes breads tea but no coffee has come true. The lake changes dramatically with the possibility that gold exists in the lake and the lake becomes the focus of the media. Mabel holds true to her dream of a simple life with the help of her Italian friends. But people disappear and then resurface.
