Item Characteristics and Response Pattern of Objective Test Items

This book is a research carried out to unravel the item theory models used in estimating the true abilities of students in a typical examination situation as well as how the IRT parameters influence the response pattern of objective test. This book also highlighted the deficiencies of applying classical test theory in judging students'' ability in an examination as error of measurement could be done systematically by the teacher or other sources.
