Christians believe in the Bible. Muslims believe in the Quran. Liberals believe in Liberty. Communists believe in Equality. Waht do Hindus believe in?The answer to that question is "Dharma" but what does it mean to be Dharmic in this Liberal Kali Yuga that we live in? How do we recognize the roots of the problems we are faced with? How can we make sense of right from wrong? How can we tell the difference between us and them? How do we respond to the challenges that Western Modernity has thrown at us? How do we avoid cultural extinction at the intimate level? How do we approach these complex issues with our children?The musings in this book aim to create an intellectual platform for Hindu parents who will then hopefully find the clarity and strength required to nourish self-aware Hindu children...children who will have the capacity for a self-respectful engagement with the modern world.
