A Sexual Violence Prevention Handbook for schools and organizations. The aim of this Handbook is to educate students staff teachers school board members/directors parents by providing factual information about sexual assault in order to reduce incidences of sexual violence on and off campus; to encourage survivors of sexual violence to report their case to a safeguarding officer; boost positive and respectful behaviors/relationships; to equip students with skills to help peers who may be survivors of sexual violence and. to promote a school environment that is safe and supportive.The handbook provides step by step guidance on Sexual Violence; it lays out developmentally appropriate strategies to prevent incidents of sexual violence (targeting students from preschool to university); and provides facilitators with diverse resources. This handbook is not limited to educational settings but it can be used by organizations working to advocate for the welfare of survivors of sexual violence and their families.Talking to students about sexual assault at any age at a developmentally appropriate level is imperative to ensure their safety.
