Jacob's Dream

After 7-year-old Jacob is visited by the ghost of his deceased mother he is filled with a longing to understand her visitations and the vivid dream which follows them. Max Orrie and Nathan a group of boys who call themselves The Widows Tribe assure Jacob that ghosts as well as many other spirit creatures dwell within the forest surrounding their neighborhood. Attracted to their devilish antics and fascinated by Nathans knowledge of the spirit world Jacob readily becomes a member of the Tribe. But when Nathans interests turn to a darker magic Jacob is forced to abandon the only friends hes had since his mothers death. Jacobs Dream is a coming-of-age tale where dreams and reality intertwine uncovering the hidden meaning of death and the redemptive power of spirit.
