Jacqueline's Tears

<p>Jacqueline's Tears is set in Paris France. It features phenomenological detective Patrice Lanier and his diverse staff of special investigators. They must solve multiple complex crimes under the restrictions imposed by the French Government and the rules passed down from the judicial authorities - during the Covid-19 pandemic. France had one of the most stringently enforced regulations in Europe. With these restrictions normal police work and procedures is impossible. Therefore Patrice and his team have to explore novel and innovative ways of staying within the law to maintain the rules of justice whilst making sure they do not overreach their authority to complete a case that will be successful in the courts. These multi-faceted cases have such diverse elements as gnawed human bones vodou and blackmail at the ballet.</p>
