<p>A book of short stories mainly about South Africans that looks at some of the complexities of life faced by ordinary women living in a society of diverse cultures.</p><p> </p><p>Muthal Naidoo was born in Pietermaritzburg in 1935. She studied English and drama at the University of Natal and worked as a school teacher for 45 years in Marabastad Pretoria and Giyani Limpopo Province. She has written extensively for the theatre as well as works of social commentary.</p>
