<p><strong>James is a wonderful book. James was a brother of Christ which makes the book even more special. The book is short but jam-packed with practical advice about walking-the-walk and talking-the-talk of our faith. </strong></p><p>It's like reading a practical how-to manual for living one's Christian life. It's about putting our faith in action. And if there isn't action that accompanies our faith James says our faith is dead. </p><p>The book further states that our faith is more than just hearing God's word; it's doing God's word. One way we do that is by refusing to show favoritism to anyone. </p><p>James addresses our speech and encourages us to control our tongues. If we can do that James says we can control everything else.</p><p>For a small book it carries a powerful punch. </p><p> </p>
