Janatta's Cry

<p>Sexual abuse in the home occurs in many communities around the world. But it is a taboo subject and is often overlooked as complex and vexing. </p><p>Its effects on victims are profound frightening and searing. Janatta was a victim of sexual assault in her home. Her ordeal began at age twelve and continued for many years.</p><p>The combination of her father being the principal wage earner and a submissive and dependent mother shut out revealing her plight to her mother. The prevailing sexist bias against women in the society added to her woes. </p><p>Janatta was forced to seek out her own solutions and she decided on suicide as the best means to end her unbearable life.<br /> <br />She overcame her severe adversity through friendship perseverance and love. </p><p>Janatta’s Cry is about the hidden scourge of sexual abuse in the home in many parts of the world.</p>
