<p>Novelette refers to a brief book or novella. A novel written on a small canvas is known as a Novelette and has a distinct place in terms of brevity when compared to the novel. As though the novelette is merely a type of short novel which emerged in the form of the novelette prior to the Renaissance following a certain trend and gradient. 'Janaza (The funeral)' is a Hindi novelette written by Shaani and its Urdu translation by Aijaz Ubaid.</p>
