Jeez... us?

<p>So I imagine you’re wondering “Why do we need another book about God and Jesus?”<br />I look around and see a lot of unhappy fearful arrogant and/or isolated people living in comfort but dependent on alcohol drugs social media sports drama busy-ness and distractions of every sort.<br />If our lives are so easy … why do they seem so hard?<br />Is it possible that we’ve lost something and are desperately trying to fill the empty space that ‘something’ left?<br />In the past people might have turned to their faith for comfort but attendance at mainline churches has been falling steadily for the past several decades. Does that mean religion has lost relevance in our lives?<br />Have we also lost our faith in God?<br />My faith in God gives my life meaning a higher purpose than just perpetuating the species acquiring stuff or stroking my ego.<br />I hope that with this book I can share a bit of that meaning give your life a little more purpose restore a little faith.<br />The only thing I would ask of you dear reader is an open mind … I do have some unusual ideas to present.</p>
