Jesus Still Heals

<p>During Jesus' earthly ministry he performed miracles by speaking commanding and</p><p>touching people. He transformed thousands of lives. Jesus' twenty-six healing miracles were</p><p>documented by eyewitnesses in the four synoptic gospels with Mark recording the most</p><p>detailed documentation of the healing miracles. </p><p></p><p>The passion and mission of Jesus' healing ministry is beautifully outlined in Matthew 9:35-</p><p>38NKJV. It states Jesus went about all the cities and villages teaching in their synagogues</p><p>preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing every sickness and every disease among the</p><p>people. But when He saw the multitudes He was moved with compassion for them because</p><p>they were weary and scattered like sheep having no shepherd. Therefore pray the Lord of the</p><p>harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.</p><p></p><p>The documented accounts of Jesus' healing ministry represent only a fraction of the great</p><p>numbers of people who Jesus healed and set free. John 21:25NKJV captures it best by stating</p><p>And there are also many other things that Jesus did which if they were written one by one I</p><p>suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.</p><p></p><p>The twenty-six miracles of Jesus that were recorded in the New Testament serve two specific</p><p>purposes. First Jesus wanted people free from the curse of sickness and disease. Second</p><p>Jesus wanted to demonstrate he was the son of man and son of God.</p><p></p><p>The purpose of this book is to help you connect with the same Jesus who supernaturally</p><p>healed during that time and is still the healer today.</p>
