Jesus the Last Great Initiate

An esoteric look at the life of Jesus considered to be the ultimate in a long line of Occult Initiates. Edouard Schure was a French mystic and author who influenced Rudolph Steiner the German founder of Anthroposophy. The author like Steiner viewed Christ as both an historical individual and as a manifestation of the divine in the human realm. Schure dimensionalizes his 'Essene' Jesus by relating key points in the story in an almost first-person fashion.
