Studying there and learning so many things beyond the school subject was incredible. I learned to be independent and manage things on my own. I had small group of friends but still I always try to manage things on my own without the help of others. Being Independent was the most important thing that my alma mater taught me. Every student has their own experience with JNU but for me it was the sense of being independent. Jnu has always been in the news for so many controversial issues but for me it’s a center for education which has produced some best professors and civil servants for our country. I always feel lucky and thankful that I got a chance to study there. I met so many people there people coming from all the states of India from the unexplored North East to populous north Indian states and the more sophisticated south India. JNU had a good number of foreign students too and interacting with them was always fun and learning. The jnu professors are educated from the best universities around the globe. All these things made the unique ecosystem of JNU. |
