Jojoba

This study was carried out at the Natural Resources Department Faculty of African Postgraduate Studies Cairo University Giza Egypt. Experiments were performed in Horticulture Research Institute Agriculture Research CenterDepartment of Fruit Ornamental Plants and Woody Trees Breeding Research - Giza Egypt during the period 2015 to 2018. The aim of this work was to develop a protocol for culturing conditions for the micro propagation of Simmondsia chinensis L. by using micro-cutting explants. Induction of salinity tolerance in jojoba plants through tissue culture mutation using gamma ray and EMS.
