Journey detour and transfiguration

The path taken by the seminar then contemplates a journey from Ford to Hitchcock from De Sica to Moretti from Ozu to Godard albeit a journey that itself presupposes the ontological legacy of other filmmakers. Perhaps an image that supports the understanding of what the lecturer (João Mário Grilo) describes as the 'monster' that each film is in the mind of the director who had to make it. It will therefore be in the alliance between technique and the principles of filmology that this monstrous vision will develop its most human profile.
