Journey My Heart

LaTavya Foster is a spoken word artist who uses her gift to educate encourage and elevate others while leading them into an authentic relationship with Christ. LaTavya has been writing poetry since her teenage years and has been engaged in the Spoken Word community throughout North Texas and other states since 2006. LaTavya currently serves as a cast poet for the FunnyBone Lounge set SAY THAT under the production of Thomas Newell and for the WE GIVE YOU PRAISE set under the production of WarNell DaBear Caldwell. She volunteers with organizations that empower women and uplift the youth. LaTavya was born and raised in Cleveland Mississippi and she takes pleasure in all art forms such as theatre museum and jazz. She is an educator and the mother of three adventurous boys.
