The book is an origin story of a Liberated African Family from Nigeria to The Bahamas during the Slave Trade and Slavery.My greatgreat grandfather and his sister were captured near their village Abeokuta in 1815.The slave Trade in the British Empire became illegal in 1807. As result of a ship wreck he was rescued in The Bahamas by Anthony Eneas who was engaged in the salvage business of finding wrecks in the waters of The Bahamas.This group of Liberated Africans were Yorubas who settled primarily in New Providence and made substantial contributions to life in The Bahamas.This book is about the Eneas Family and traces their trajectory in the life of The BAHAMAS FROM THE 19TH TO THE 21ST CENTURY.
