<p class=ql-align-justify>William Jones Jr. was born in Portland Oregon to a mother who did not want him and was forced to care for him. When he was 6 years old she left him with relatives in a small town in Eastern Washington called Rawlings. He lived with his aunt and uncle and was embraced by his grandparents other relatives and community members. However it took William time to learn to love and trust after living with an abusive and negligent mother.</p><p class=ql-align-justify></p><p class=ql-align-justify>With the help of a pet dog named Patches and the unconditional love he received William slowly learned that people could also give that kind of love and he gradually learned to give that love in return.</p><p class=ql-align-justify></p><p class=ql-align-justify>This is a story about a young abused boy who first learned to love his pet dog and eventually learned to love the family who accepted him for who he was. It is a story of resilience and strength.</p>
