Journey to the West

<p><strong>Journey to the West</strong><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)> </span>is the life story of Tang Sanzang (唐三藏)/Xuanzang (玄奘) a character from the classic Chinese classic novel of the same name (西游记). Tang Sanzang <span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>went on </span>to fetch the <strong>Buddhist </strong>scriptures from India (天竺/西天). The current volume in the Mandarin Chinese Reading Series includes both the Chinese text (simplified characters) and pinyin in the story form.
