<p>Abby is a beautiful young New York State Supreme Court Justice whose personality flaws are far reaching. From the outside it looks as though she lives a simple and rewarding life in the Brooklyn Heights section of Brooklyn New York. However her self-destructive nature as an adult may very well have stemmed from the time as a young girl when she found her father's body in the basement of the family home. Although deemed an apparent suicide many questions remain unanswered.</p><p></p><p>Some questionable decisions put Abby in a compromising position and aligned her more closely with an acquaintance of ill repute. Of the many other people in Abby's life only two seem to have Abby's well-being in mind. Walter an old friend of her father's whose intentions are sincere tries to help when he can. And Sarah an intern from Brooklyn Law School who becomes a valued confidant of Abby's but who turns out to not be there for Abby when most needed.</p>
