Just the Facts

This textbook is designed as a very brief introduction to the concepts of environmental science from ecosystems to life processes to chemical processes to recycling to the water cycle and treatment to sustainability to pest control to issues and solutions to pollution and environmental laws. Each of the 30 chapters are covered in readings of two to five pages long. Additionally the book provides access to a very complete glossary of terms used in environmental science. Instructors and students using the text can download a complementary set of PowerPoint presentations which go with each chapter to illustrate concepts.
