Growing up in Belair at Bowie a Levitt planned community was a multi-faceted gift. This book is a firsthand account of that formative experience starting with the construction of the family's home and progressing to the author's halfway point at Kenilworth Elementary. Each chapter is a self-contained campfire story. Most everyone who grew up in Bowie during the 60s and 70s will relate to this book on a personal level-and much of it captures the flavor of suburban America at the time.
