Kaisergemse (German literally meaning 'imperial chamois') is an autobiographical novella based on a scrupulously honest true story. Richly illustrated with authentic photographs it details the first 22 years of the Author's life while sharing a rather unique mountain-climbing experience in Central Austria where he was vacationing with his ageing parents in August 1986. Following the 1956 Hungarian rebellion the Author was jailed at age 14 for anticommunist 'crimes' and thus became the youngest political prisoner in the history of Hungary. At age 20 he escaped to Italy via Yugoslavia and thus broke through the Iron Curtain. After another series of improbable 'adventures' he was granted political asylum in West-Germany yet as soon as he could he took up residence in Miami Florida. However because of the Vietnam war and likely draft he ended up settling in Canada. This is an original literary work written in April 1987 first published in September 2007.
