Technical fields such as science and law require properties such as accuracy definiteness uniqueness and specificity in technical terms used in those fields. A uniform set of technical terms should consistently come into practice in school textbooks Wikipedia media science books published by private authors.Numerous scholars have created technical terms in Tamil. There are already many dictionaries of technical terms. I describe the drawbacks in those dictionaries. In an attempt to make a list of words that do not have the drawbacks and satisfy the properties required by technical fields I have collected and when necessary created words.Here I describe the optimal solutions and guidelines I have developed and the reasoning behind it. I also present over hundred thousand technical words on the internet as a searchable list and downloadable file.
